A Bit About Valley House Blend Valley House is our everyday house coffee—a blend designed to be bold enough to stand up to milk while still offering plenty of sweetness and character on its own. We combine coffees from Rwanda, Colombia and India to create a familiar, full-bodied profile that bridges the gap between traditional coffee and specialty coffee. The result is a dependable, versatile blend that we think makes a damn good cup of coffee.

Roaster's Notes Our Valley House Blend is a bold, sweet and approachable blend of Rwandan Bourbon, Colombian Arabica and Kaapi Royal Robusta. Rich notes of roasted almond and baker's chocolate are balanced by a subtle sweetness reminiscent of maple syrup. The Robusta adds depth and body, while the Arabica coffees bring sweetness and complexity. We roast each coffee separately and then blend them together. 20% Robusta, 40% Rwanda, and 40% Colombia.

Barista's Notes Valley House is built for versatility. As espresso, expect a rich, full-bodied shot with chocolate and roasted almond notes and a lingering sweetness. It works especially well with milk, where the bold chocolate character and maple-like sweetness really come through. For brewed coffee, use a slightly longer ratio to bring out more of the blend's sweetness while maintaining its rich body.
